To demonstrate their understanding of the role of various text features found in informational texts, student pairs "scrubbed-in" for surgery. Their goal was to help some very confused patients navigate nonfiction reading.
Quizlet Live Review
Quizlet Live is a game-based review. It is one of the games our class uses to prepare for a test. Students are randomly grouped, and must work together to answer questions based on the content. Correct answers can appear on any one of the student's Chromebooks, so students must work together to beat the other teams and themselves. When a team successfully completes a round, teams are shuffled again, and the game restarts.
