Holidays Around the World
As the holidays approached, students worked together to research how the holidays were celebrated in different countries and by different cultures around the world. Pairs of students then created a Venn Diagram comparing and contrasting the similarities and differences between their assigned country and the United States.

Thanksgiving S.T.E.M. Cooperative Challenge: Ship Building
Teams of students had to work together, cooperate, and communicate to construct a ship using simple supplies. Their goal was to build a ship that could support the most people (pennies) while staying afloat. Teams had to figure out how to communicate in order to effectively use the materials given, and construct their ships.
